Miles Propane Programs

Pre-Buy Program
This allows a customer to purchase the estimated gallons of propane that will be used from September 1st through April 30th. A minimum purchase of 500 gallons is required. Payment in full is required to participate in the Pre-Buy Program. Partial payments are not accepted. Any additional gallons purchased will be at the Price Protection price. This program is available for a limited time. Check with the office for availability.

Price Protection Program
Miles Propane, Inc. guarantees a protected price from September 1st through April 30th. If a customer allows its account to remain unpaid for over 30 days, this agreement will be void and all future deliveries subject to current pricing. There are no exceptions to this program.

Budget Program
The Budget Program is designed for customers that want to make equal monthly payments to cover their heating expenses. Miles Propane, Inc. will compute the amount of propane used during the customer's past season by the estimated propane price and then divide that number by 12. A statement is sent every month showing the activity on the account. It is the customers' responsibility to make sure their account is current. The Budget Program customers are also on a Keep Full schedule as long as Miles Propane, Inc. receives timely payments. Payments are due on the 15th of the month. If the customer misses a budget payment, their account automatically switches to a COD/Will Call account.

• There are no registration fees required to participate in any of these programs.
• Any past due amounts must be paid in full to participate in the new program.
• If at any time, at the customers request, the account is placed on WILL CALL this agreement will be void and all future deliveries will be subject to current pricing.
• Sales tax is not included in any pricing above.

New Accounts
To establish credit and open an account, Miles Propane, Inc. is now using Farm Plan Credit® for establishing credit. The information gathered will be strictly confidential and will not be available to anyone other than the customer. If a new customer requests their report not be obtained, they will be automatically set up as a COD customer.

Keep Full Customer
A Keep Full Customer is a customer who has approved credit. Miles Propane, Inc. will deliver propane based upon the Degree Day System and will monitor it year round. Keep Full Customers may receive a 4 cent per gallon discount if they pay their entire invoice upon delivery or within 7 days of delivery. The cash discount will not apply if the customer completes the transaction with a credit card. If a customer allows their account to remain unpaid for over 30 days, the account will automatically revert to a WILL CALL-COD account.

Will Call Customer
A Will Call Customer is a customer who is responsible for tracking their propane usage. When a Will Call Customer requires a propane delivery, they must give Miles Propane, Inc. a 48 hour notice. If a Will Call Customer requires an immediate same-day delivery, a $75 service fee will be charged before 3 PM. Orders placed after 3 PM , after business hours, or during the weekend, will be charged a $125 service fee for same day delivery. A $200 service fee will be charged if the delivery is required on a holiday. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Minimum Delivery
Miles Propane, Inc.'s minimum delivery for propane is 200 gallons. There are no exceptions.

Terms
Home Heat Accounts must be paid in full by the 15th of the month following delivery. Commercial accounts must be paid by the 20th.

Cash Discount
Miles Propane, Inc.'s cash discount is 4 cents per gallon. The discount is based on payment made on date of delivery or within 7 days of delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that payment is received in our office within 7 days of delivery.

Approved Credit
Farm Plan Credit® will process and establish credit. The application must be filled out completely for processing. These customers must also have their Social Security Number, Driver's License Number, and birth date on file at Miles Propane, Inc.

Cash On Delivery
Cash On Delivery is available to customers who have not provided the appropriate information to establish a charge account, who do not meet the credit criteria, and/or have failed to pay their account with Miles Propane, Inc. in a timely fashion. All COD customers must either pay for their propane before Miles Propane, Inc., delivers, OR someone must be home to pay the driver, OR the customer must leave the payment for the driver at a predetermined place. If the customer fails to meet the above requirements, Miles Propane, Inc., will not leave the propane and will charge the customer a $50 delivery fee to reschedule the delivery. The Will Call policy also applies.

Payment Options
Miles Propane, Inc. will accept cash, check*, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. The cash discount will not apply if a credit card or Farm Plan is used to purchase fuel. A service charge of $35 will be assessed for each check returned. Miles Propane, Inc., will only accept cash or certified funds for repayment of returned checks.

*Miles Propane, Inc., cannot accept checks without a Driver's License Number, birth date and home telephone number on file.

Degree Day System
The Degree Day System is based upon the weather conditions as opposed to the route system. Deliveries are made based upon the following formula. High temperature minus low temperature equals mean temperature (figure in wind chill if necessary). The mean temperature is then applied to the size of the customer's tank, the size of the propane delivery and the amount of propane used since the customer's last delivery. Deliveries are then scheduled based on what the outside temperatures are rather than time, or simply put... If it is colder than normal, Miles Propane, Inc., will deliver more often, and if it is warmer than normal Miles Propane, Inc., will deliver less often.

New Tank Sets / Switch Out
Miles Propane, Inc. will provide a First Stage Regulator, up to 25 feet of copper and labor at no charge to set a new tank or switch out another companies tank. The customer is required to purchase the Second Stage Regulator, any additional copper required to set the tank, and the first fill of propane. Any permit fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Usage Requirements
Miles Propane, Inc. will set a tank based on a customers expected usage. This allows us to keep our pricing competitive and eliminates the need for a lease fee. If the customer fails to meet the minimum requirements for the tank placed, they are subject to a 15 cents per gallon fee for all gallons not purchased up to the minimum required within a 12 month period.

Miles Propane, Inc. reserves the right to place a smaller tank if a customer fails to purchase the minimum gallons required.

Tank Removal / Pump Out
There will be a charge of $75.00 for pumping propane out of a Miles Propane, Inc. tank for safe removal and transporting.

Privacy Policy: Miles Propane, Inc. considers the privacy of its customers or former customers to be a matter of the utmost importance. We believe that any personal customer data provided to us should be treated with the highest level of regard for the confidentiality of personal and financial information.

This Policy is being provided to outline our current policies and practices with regard to how information about individual customers is collected and used. This Policy will be updated annually as needed.

Non-Public personal information is collected through information required on forms and applications. This may include names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, and other account information. This information can also be collected through electronic media. Information is also collected about your transactions with us.

Miles Propane, Inc. will not sell your personal information. In addition, we will not give to or share your personal information with any unaffiliated third party unless written permission is granted.

Customer information is only made available to those Miles Propane, Inc. employees who need access in order to provide products and services to you.

Miles Propane, Inc. maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard customer information.
